Senior Software Engineer – C++/GUI
Job Description:
Design and implement a data management & integration console application for
Asempra’s Business Continuity Server product using next generation user
interface technologies. The application domain is real-time file and database backup
and recovery, as well as disaster recovery
Job Responsibilities:
- Design management console using most suitable technology/framework, and produce detailed design documentation.
- Develop new management console applications with high quality and speed, following standard engineering practices.
- Interact with UI graphics designer and product manager during product definition phase; work with server, cluster
and driver groups during product development phase; and cooperate with QA group during testing phase.
Job Requirements:
- Rich GUI development experience.
- Web GUI experience with JAVASCRIPTS, DOM, XML, and DHTML.
- Knowledge and interest in AJAX-based, .Net-based, or Flash-based rich internet applications technologies.
- Knowledge of Server technologies such as Web Services, SOA, Apache/Tomcat, IIS, or .Net.
- Understanding of server design issues such as caching, session management, transaction, clustering,
interoperability, scalability, performance, high availability, etc.
- Motivated, self-learner, and team-oriented.
- Ability to take software projects from inception to delivery.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Skills: C++, C#, Web GUI, JavaScript, SOAP.
Education/Experience: BS/MS in CS/EE with 8 years related experience.
